Dr. Dailey’s office is the best dentist I have ever used.
Since I moved to Ann Arbor I have been going here for about two years for my 6 month dental cleanings with hygienist Kelly. Kelly and Dr. Dailey are warm, honest, and thorough. Kelly spends more time ensuring every single particle of plaque below the gumline is removed than any other hygienist I have ever worked with. She is clearly an expert in what she does and I never feel like she rushes through any part of the cleaning. In fact, I think she takes more time and care with her work than most hygienists would.
Dr. Dailey herself is incredibly nice and has taught me more about my mouth than any other dentist in the past 26 years of my life. I learned that I have a bit of compressed tissue (not sure what the exact medical term was for this, but more or less that’s what it was) and I was walked through how to floss better. Dr. Dailey, after noticing on my first visit that I was starting to have a bit of a gum tissue problem, demanded I floss more and come back in after just 2 months to get it looked at. This followup check was *free*. There was no charge because there was no work to be done. They simply wanted to make sure that my teeth were doing better.
Scheduling appointments has always been convenient and they have decent hours. Billing to my insurance has never been an issue (call ahead to see if they accept your plan). The office itself is very modern, calming inside, and quite nice. They clearly have modern equipment, modern training, and know how to run a business.
I’m never going to be overjoyed to go to the dentist, but Kelly and Dr. Dailey are super nice, fun to chat with, and know their field better than any other place I’ve been.
Dr. Dailey and her staff make up the best dentist’s office I’ve ever visited. I had a good first appointment there a few months ago, and my second visit today confirmed my good impressions. The office is in an renovated house just north of campus. I was running late this morning and worried about finding a spot in this normally crowded neighborhood, but I was relieved to find that they have patient parking spots on Catherine, just around the corner from the front door on Ingalls. Both hygienists I’ve seen are friendly and professional. Dr. Dailey makes me feel assured that she would notice anything amiss, even if I didn’t feel any symptoms. She’s big on preventative care, such as prescribing fluoride treatments to stave off incipient cavities.
Overall, Dr. Dailey’s office is pleasant, professional, and competent!
I am a physician and have had the great pleasure of Dr Dailey’s care for many years. She has a warm, happy and very caring personality. Though her demeanor is important, it is her consistent attention to excellent dental care that keeps me coming back. “Good” just is never good enough for her. She seems to always strive for excellence and somehow has managed to instill the same in her staff.
